Warner Bros. Japan has unveiled a trailer for the second part of the anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. A spin-off of Hirohiko Araki‘s manga, Stone Ocean is the sixth arc of the main storyline and was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump between 1999 and 2003.

The second part of Stone Ocean will comprise episodes 13 through 24. It was revealed during this year’s Anime Expo that the second part of the series will debut on Netflix worldwide on September 1, following which the series will air on Tokyo MX.

Season five of the show picks up from the adventures of its previous installment. While incarcerated, JoJo is given a mysterious pendant that grants her magical powers and kicks off her next fantasy-packed adventure.

Read Netflix’s description of Stone Ocean below:

Florida, U.S.A, 2011 After an accident while on a drive with her sweetheart, Jolyne Cujoh falls into a trap and is sentenced to fifteen years. She is sent to the state-run maximum-security correctional facility Green Dolphin Street Prison—AKA “the Aquarium.” On the verge of despair, she receives a pendant from her father that causes a mysterious power to awaken inside of her. “There are things in this world that are more terrifying than death, and what’s happening in this prison is definitely one of them.” A message from a mysterious boy who appears before Jolyne, inexplicable events that occur one after another, the horrifying truth told to her by her father when he comes to visit, and the name DIO… Will Jolyne ultimately be set free from this stone ocean they call a prison? The final battle to end century-long fateful confrontations between the Joestar family and DIO begins!

The trailer for the show begins with JoJo in prison, framed for a murder she didn’t commit. She then purposefully gets herself sent to an isolated cell in order to find DIO’s bone.
