Billionaire Boys Club and Bamford London Collaborate on 'Rocket' GMT
Just 25 pieces are being made.
Billionaire Boys Club has collaborated with Bamford London on a special edition watch, the ‘Rocket’ GMT.
The automatic dual-time watch with inner rotating bezel features a custom dial with lunar surface detail, a nod to the Pharrell Williams and Nigo-founded streetwear brand’s ‘affinity with Outerspace.’
BBC’s Classic Rocket design – which was originally drawn by Japanese illustrator SK8THING – forms the 40mm watch’s GMT hand. The red of the Classic Rocket is carried though to the red seconds hand, 12 o’clock marker and GMT lettering.
Presented in a special box chenille fabric with a velvet lining, the BBC x Bamford London ‘Rocket’ GMT watch drops on July 9 – limited to just 25 pieces – available at BBC’s flagship Miami store and online, priced $2,500 USD.
Elsewhere in watch, Greubel Forsey drops architectural $500,000 USD tourbillon.
