Tyler, The Creator Drops "fresh fish" Cinematic for Upcoming Converse GLF 2.0
Along with lookbook imagery.
After much anticipation, the release of the GOLF Le FLEUR* x Converse GLF 2.0 sneakers is now just over the horizon. To celebrate the launch, Tyler, the Creator delivers an off-beat one-minute cinematic to illustrate the idea behind the collaborative project.
The video imagines the shoes as “fresh fish” as a chef is seen preparing shoelace pasta and seared outsoles. Building on the theme are lookbook images shot on the imaginary tropical shores. The Converse GLF 2.0 arrives in “Oil Green/Bison” and “Curry/Copper Tan” colorways that bear a minimalistic design with a canvas base and fluid suede overlays. Boat graphics are printed on the tongues and pre-distressed midsoles give off an added retro flair. Rounding out the design is a lightweight CX liner and cup sole for added comfort.
Look for the GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse collaboration to be available via Converse on June 9 for $110 USD.
