Los Angeles-based designer Reese Cooper has offered a teaser of his debut collaboration with Levi’s. With his eponymous brand’s core inspiration being vintage Americana fused with the great outdoors, Cooper’s joint project with American denim specialists, Levi’s, arrives as a natural union.
The striking green co-branded jacrons and “RCI” tags were first unveiled last summer and now we get a closer look at the riveted denim. The jeans match the hues of the fabric tags, featured in the monochromatic forest green that exemplifies the label’s commitment to protecting the planet. The second offering is a two-tone piece featured in denim blue with region-specific wash patterns. On the second slide of the Instagram reveal, Cooper playfully quotes the lyrics from Frank Ocean’s track Nikes — “I got two versions, I got two versions, I got two versions.”
Stay tuned for release updates to arrive soon.
