The New Balance MADE in USA 990v3 Arrives in "Moonbeam"
The Teddy Santis-led MADE in USA line returns to the 990v3.
Last year, New Balance appointed Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis as the Creative Director of the New Balance MADE in USA line. Designed to be a lifestyle focused branch, MADE in USA products boast a domestic value of 70% or more, emphasizing the usage of authentic American craftmanship with its five facilities found on the East Coast. Now, following up on the initial Santis-designed collection, his line gives the 990v3 a fresh “Moonbeam” colorway.
In “Moonbeam,” the MADE in USA 990v3 utilizes a humble mix of gray and off-white tones throughout. The mesh base pairs with suede and canvas overlays to create the signature layered upper. Branding elements remain standard to the silhouette with the iconic “N” in a darker, contrasting shade of gray while MADE in USA and New Balance branding spreads throughout the pair. Rounding out the details is an ENCAP cushioned midsole that is designed to provide comfort in every step.
Priced at $200 USD, the New Balance MADE in USA 990v3 “Moonbeam” launches June 30 at 10am EDT via New Balance and select retailers.
