The Basement is continuing to expand its collaboration portfolio with New Balance with a second iteration of the 2002R silhouette. Coming in a new “Moss Green” colorway, it follows up from April’s “Earth Brown” edition (which sold out in seconds) and since then, The Basement’s tight-knit community of sneakerheads and streetwear fanatics alike have been chomping at the bit for this next instalment.

By using a tonal mix of green and olive hues that have been constructed from waterproof heavy suede and textured rubber, the contrasting black toe caps, heel guards, and rigid outsole of 3M panels hold the look together. Of course, the shoe is finished with branding details throughout the design, from The Basement’s OG logo on the heel, tongue, lace tips, and, insole, through to the customary New Balance ‘N’ on the throat panel.

You can have a closer look at the new The Basement x New Balance 2002R “Moss Green” above and they will be dropping exclusively via BSMNTSTORE.COM on June 26 at 3 p.m. BST (10 a.m. EST). Members of The Basement Community Group can also keep an eye out within the group on how they can get their hands on a pair before anyone else.
