New York-based label Rowing Blazers has followed up its Spring/Summer 2022 collection by previewing a new collaboration with K-Swiss. The resulting capsule mixes Rowing Blazer’s nostalgic aesthetic with K-Swiss‘ tennis heritage, while also drawing on founder Jack Carlson’s personal vintage K-Swiss collection.

The collection includes both apparel and footwear, with highlights including the ’90s-inspired graphic pullover windbreaker and a French terry crewneck sweatshirt. Elsewhere, the capsule includes a range of nylon shorts, cotton twill caps and a black cotton tee.

Rounding out the collaboration is a new take on the Si-18 sneaker, complete with a ’90s color palette and collaborative Rowing Blazers x K-Swiss branding. The silhouette features a range of technical elements, including asymmetric midsoles, a D-R Cinch lacing system inspired by vintage ski boots and the Silicone Formula 18 from which it takes its name.

Launching the collection, Rowing Blazers’ Jack Carlson said:

“I’ve been wearing K-Swiss since I was a kid, and the Si-18 is an iconic tennis shoe in a way that just a small number of sneakers are truly important in the history of athletic footwear. So this collaboration is very meaningful for me. I wanted to use a very wearable ‘90s palette, and I was inspired by the tennis gear I collected growing up, going to the Open, and attending tennis camps. Although rowing became my main sport, tennis was always my passion.”

The full collection is available now from both the Rowing Blazers and K-Swiss web stores.

In other fashion news, London-based Garbstore recently unveiled its Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
