Tekla and John Pawson Craft Minimalist Bedding Capsule
Including a specially-designed bed.
Following up its second Stüssy collection, Copenhagen-based label Tekla has unveiled its latest partnership with legendary architect John Pawson. Marking the third time Pawson has collaborated with Tekla, the new collection builds on his minimalist architectural style that has been captured at his Oxfordshire family home.
The collection comprises of a range of bedding pieces — including pillow and duvet covers alongside cushion covers and a bed spread — as well as a custom-made bed. The soft-white bedding is constructed from 100% cotton with a textured surface, while the bedspread and cushion covers sport a weave of 97% linen and 3% silk.
The bed is the stand-out item in the collection, and features a low platform with a hinged headrest for bedtime reading. The warm wood look of the bed contrasts the white of the bedding to create a full bedroom collection.
The full John Pawson x Tekla collection is available now from the Tekla web store in extremely limited numbers.
