Lady Gaga Reportedly in "Early Talks" to Star as Harley Quinn in 'Joker' Sequel
Sources add that the film will be a musical.
Lady Gaga could be starring opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Todd Phillips‘ upcoming Joker 2.
According to reports, the House of Gucci star and award-winning musician is currently in “early talks” to play the role of Harley Quinn, Joker’s former psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who becomes his on-again, off-again romantic and criminal partner. Details about Phillips’ presentation of Harley Quinn have not been revealed, however The Hollywood Reporter states that additional sources claim that the film will be a musical.
Phillips previously revealed the official title of the upcoming sequel as Joker: Folie à deux, named after the psychiatric syndrome that involves two or more people sharing the same delusional belief or hallucinations. Phoenix was photographed reading the script, but Warner Bros. and the actor are reportedly still in talks to close a deal for the sequel.
