Dot da Genius has joined forces with Kid Cudi, Denzel Curry and JID for his newest single “Talk About Me.”

Clocking in at just a little over three-minutes, the powerhouse collaboration is a beautiful medley of punchy verses from the three rappers laid over astounding psychedelic production work from Dot. “I’ve been in music for a long time, right now I’m understanding what phase and era I’m entering,” the GRAMMY-nominated producer shared in a statement. “It feels good to finally make the decisions, decide what looks good, and just get my vision out to the people that supported me all this time. There are so many kids out there that have supported me, so I want to give them something to hold on to.”

The track has been in the works for three years and began when Curry and Dot met for the first time in 2019. The pair linked up at a recording session in Dot’s studio, The Brewery Recording Studio, and their creative partnership continued to blossom and birthed cuts on Curry’s Melt My Eyez See Your Future. Meanwhile, Cudi’s interest was immediately piqued upon hearing “Talk About Me” and hopped on, and JID was an obvious choice for Dot as he wanted an all-star lyricist.
