The next shoe to receive a present-day retro return in Nike‘s repertoire is the LeBron 3. The silhouette is a sentimental homage to LeBron James‘ home state of Ohio as well as a nod to his family.

The Nike LeBron 3 “BBZ” arrives in an all-black base constructed with a mix of materials including leather, suede and patent leather. Eyestays in red, white and blue are accentuated as a nod to the Ohio state flag as well as the Akron seal. Additional lettering details include the “BBZ” embroidered on the left medial toe, honoring James’ three children, Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri. The right shoe notes Akron’s “330” area code, a subtle homage to his hometown. Silver hardware is seen throughout the shoe for an additional technical detailing that sits atop the Zoom Air bubbles atop a black and grey rubber outsole to round out the design.

Look out for the release of the Nike LeBron 3 “BBZ” set to arrive in the coming months in select retailers and online at Nike.

In other footwear news, the Rick and Morty x PUMA RS-X has an official release date.
