HANON and Padmore & Barnes Recruit Anglozine For Collaborative Leisure Shoe
Limited to just 60 pairs.
HANON and Padmore & Barnes continue their ongoing partnership this Spring/Summer season, as they team up with London-based label Anglozine for a three-way take on the M244 Higgins leisure shoe.
Originally released as a boating shoe in 1978, the Higgins is one of Padmore & Barnes’ lesser-known silhouettes, but much like their widely-recognised P204 and M387, the shoe retains a moccasin-type construction. For this collaboration, the trio have drawn inspiration from Anglozine’s seasonal collection and a shared love of jazz, cinema and mid-20th century style.
Limited to just 60 pairs, the M244 arrives in a smooth sand suede upper with perforations applied to the vamp, alongside a vibrant orange suede contrast at the rear. Complete with leather lining and an Anglozine flag label on the side, the shoe boasts gold foil triple branding on the in-sole.
Arriving in Padmore & Barnes’ signature shoe box — which comes equipped with a cotton dust bag and numbered hang-tag — the HANON x Padmore & Barnes x Anglozine M244 Higgins is set to drop via an online raffle, which will end on May 6.
In other footwear news, HANON has also teamed up with Finnish label Karhu for a Highland Games-inspired release.
