Admired for his humor, welcoming charm and signature laugh, Seth Rogen is perhaps one of Hollywood’s most loved actors. But beyond his acting chops, Rogen may be the multipurpose home decor designer you never knew you needed. The cannabis and design company, Houseplant, which was founded by Seth Rogen, Michael Mohr and Evan Goldberg, is releasing a new Gloopy Ashtray.

HYPEBEAST caught up with Rogen to take a closer look at the range of Houseplant’s lifestyle home goods, in addition to Rogen’s eye-catching new ashtray. With a keen focus on fusing design and functionality, the range of good features a pebble match strike with an ashtray, an aluminum carry case with a hidden grinder and lighter that’s all wrapped in a green leather holder, a lighter caddy molded after Rogen’s dog Zelda, a hand-poured resin ashtray with an ombre design and more.

But the highlight of the video is the new Gloppy Ashtray that was designed by Rogen and produced by Brooklyn-based studio Hammerly Ceramics. Dipped in a vivid shade of green, the porcelain ashtray’s hue was developed by Rogen and is finished off with sky blue bulbous pieces. The ashtray is limited to 325 units and will be released through an early access model.

“I wanted to make something that was outwardly psychedelic, truly was just trippy and texturally pleasing to hold and handle,” said Rogen.

For those interested, sign-ups for early access are available now on Houseplant’s website. The sale is set to go live on Tuesday, April 26 exclusively for early access recipients. Should any units remain, the Gloopy Ashtray will be available to the general public on Wednesday, April 27.

Check out the Gloopy Ashtray and the rest of Houseplant’s home goods in the video above.

In related news, Vero is ushering in a “new era of Italian design.”
