Bodega's ASICS GEL-MC PLUS Collaboration Is a Reflection of Springtime
Bearing seasonal accent hues of blue, green and yellow.

Bodega has been keeping a consistent stream of footwear collaborations flowing out of its camp over the course of 2022, and after linking up with Reebok for a luxe Club C, it’s been tapped by ASICS to reinterpret the fairly new GEL-MC PLUS. For this new team-up, the Boston-based streetwear retailer turned to the blossoming Spring season for inspiration and styled it up with accenting hues that reflect elements of nature.
After enduring a long and gloomy winter, Bodega wanted to shine a light on more vivid colors to align with the warmer weather. A majority of the mesh uppers and perforated underlays here are done up in a lighter gray hue and sit adjacent to pale yellow tiger stripe logos and bold blue hits across the interior lining, medial panels and heels. Subtle pops of teal, orange and purple also show face throughout the medial quarters and tongues. The right insoles are printed with a “15 Years” hit to symbolize Bodega’s 15-year anniversary while the left side features co-branded embellishments. The kicks come packaged in a special multi-colored shoebox and come with a co-branded key ring.
If interested in adding to your rotation, you can find these dropping on April 29 via Bodega at 12pm EDT.
