London-based retailer Garbstore has followed up its recent archive-inspired collection with Unified Goods by teaming up with heritage brand Private White V.C. for a premium rainwear capsule.
Designed to tackle the unpredictable British weather, this three-piece Ventile capsule comprises a single-breast waterproof mac, fully-lined tote bag and traditional bucket hat, all of which have been made using locally-sourced materials.
United by a passion for military design and vintage workwear, the duo have crafted a made-to-last rainwear collection that finds the perfect balance between classic silhouettes and modern functionality.
For example, the raincoat — which arrives in a traditional single-breast cut — has fully sealed seams, with an emphasis around the shoulders to maintain its shape and strength, but also houses a hidden lumbar support umbrella pocket for quick access when a downpour arrives.
