Sony to Develop 'Venom 3,' 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' Sequel
The release dates are yet to be announced.
Sony has announced new movies for its Venom and Ghostbusters series.
The studio will reportedly be developing Venom 3, marking Tom Hardy‘s third appearance as Eddie Brock following 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which earned $502 million USD at the global box office, and 2018’s Venom, which earned $856 million USD. Sony is also working on a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which earned $200 million USD globally and starred Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd while original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts reprised their roles from the original series.
During the announcement, Sony also shared footage from upcoming films such as Kraven the Hunter, The Equalizer 3, the Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody and A Man Called Otto.
