Driven by strong metal accents and city-ready silhouettes, the latest release of Versace eyewear has landed at Sunglass Hut. Offering styles like the Medusa Focus, a Pilot shape with gold-tone color frame, the new eyewear offerings have luxurious and cosmopolitan elements that complement the sartorial styles of New York. To put Versace’s eyewear to the test, HYPEBEAST invited photographer Myles Loftin to show off his favorite spots on a short city tour.

Known for his bold approach to portraits, the 24-year-old photographer is currently working on creative projects that showcase his photography. After waking up, Myles searches for fresh source of inspiration in the books he keeps at home while getting ready to start his day. Once he’s ready, he stops by Sincerely, Tommy for an essential cup of coffee before continuing to the Sunglass Hut store.

Wearing an orange puffer jacket, Myles matches the neon-hued walls of Sunglass Hut that visitors see when they first walk in. Moving to the display of Versace eyewear, Myles first tries on the Medusa Focus, which features a rectangle shape that expresses strength and enhances his tough, city dweller exterior. Although Versace’s iconic Medusa symbol is located in the middle of these frames, its miniature size works as a subtle nod to the expressive brand.

Next, the photographer tries on the Medusa Biggie for a more mysterious and celebrity-inspired look. With gold-tone Medusa Biggie temple details that create a strong contrast, these all-black sunglasses reminds fans of original Versace fashion idols. Before wrapping up his sunglasses shopping experience, Myles also tries on the Medusa Mesmerize, which features a curved edge at the top of its lens. The light grey mirror lens is also complemented by touches of gold-tone hardware that secure its innovative shape.

After seeing New York through Myles’ cutting-edge perspective, head to Sunglass Hut’s website to learn more about the latest eyewear styles from Versace. These styles are also available for purchase at select Sunglass Hut locations around North America.
