Comfy Outdoor Garment Drops First Outerwear of SS22
Crafted with a unique water-repellent lip nylon.

When it comes to outerwear, Comfy Outdoor Garment does things a little differently. Based out of Tokyo, Japan, the label — which is often referred to as CMF — is the brainchild of Makoto Okuya, the founder of the Lost Hills store in the Harajuku district of the capital. Renowned for its innovative takes on classic garments, CMF has garnered a global cult following with its consistently impressive function-focused collections.
Now, following a collaboration with Hong Kong-based retailer 432Hz towards the end of 2021, CMF returns for Spring/Summer 2022 to present its 15 STEP JK and OVERLAY VEST. The former, which houses pockets that resemble layered clothing, boasts a back pocket in the style of a vintage US military C-1 vest and uses water-repellent cotton nylon.
Arriving alongside the OVERLAY VEST, which is also made with a water-repellent lip nylon composition, both arrive in a variety of colorways and are available to buy from the CMF webstore while stocks last for ¥38,000 and ¥28,000 (approximately $330 and $242 USD) respectively.
In other news, the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “White/Sail” and “Black/Gum” colorways are finally dropping.
