UNIQLO UT Releases New 'Pokémon' Collection With Artist Unit Magma
For both adults and kids.

Following its first collaboration with British artist James Jarvis and Japan’s Meguru Yamaguchi, UNIQLO‘s graphic T-shirt brand UT has released the second installment of its “Pokémon Meets Artist” series. This time, the brand has collaborated with magma, an artist unit created by Jun Sugiyama and Kenichi Miyazawa, known for its collages of familiar objects and waste materials.
Available in various colorways, including white, navy, gray, and black, the latest collection sees designs featuring beloved characters such as Pikachu, Magnemite, Magikarp, Psyduck, and Charizard constructed with metal screws, tennis rack, baseball bat, and other familiar objects with different textures. The standout of the kids’ line is a light blue T-shirt with game-inspired character graphics of Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
Priced at ¥1,500 JPY (approximately $13 USD) for adults’ T-shirts and ¥990 JPY (approximately $9 USD) for kids’ T-shirts, the UNIQLO UT x Pokémon x magma collection will be available at UNIQLO stores nationwide and the official online store from Monday, April 18.
