Clarks has returned to one of its best-loved silhouettes for a new take on the Desert Trek boot. Originally released in the 1970s, the shoe has gone on to become a classics from the Clarks archive, and is now finished with the label’s crepe cup sole for extra comfort.

Accompanying the new sole unit — which also gives the shoe a more casual and sneaker-influenced aesthetic — Clarks has kept a number of classic touches. This includes the central stitch seam and double eyelet, while the Trek Man character returns to the debossed leather heel. This heel section breaks up the premium suede construction, with the whole upper coming in a clean white colorway.

Take an up-close look at the new silhouette in the gallery above. Clarks’ Desert Trek Cup is available now from select stockists including Aphrodite.

In related news, Clarks Originals recently dropped its new Weaver Weft.
