Disney and UNIQLO UT Deliver "Mickey Stands" T-Shirt Collection
Featuring the Disney icon in a variety of different patterns and art styles.
Following a collaboration with The Museum of Modern Art, UNIQLO UT taps Mickey Mouse once again for its latest collaboration with Disney.
Prior Mickey Mouse x UNIQLO collaborations include “Mickey Plays,” displaying the cartoon playing all different types of sports, “Mickey Travels,” highlighting cities around the world, and more. For 2022, UNIQLO’s top creators use the classic “Mickey Stands” illustration as a canvas for a variety of different expressions. The new original graphics feature Mickey as a trimmed tree sculpture, a neon sign, in denim patchwork, paper fractals, and more.
To celebrate the launch, a special site is scheduled to release on February 16 with an original game titled “FIND YOUR MICKEY.” The game ties into a special Twitter campaign in which T-shirts and eco-friendly bags will be gifted as a reward.
The “MICKEY STANDS” collection Drop 1 will be on sale starting February 21st at select UNIQLO stores and the brand’s website.
Elsewhere, Eames Office and Gelato Pique collaborate for cozy loungewear.
