Eames Office, founded by infamous designers Charles and Ray Eames in 1942, has announced a new collaboration with Japanese loungewear brand Gelato Pique Homme.

The product lineup starts with a Geometric series inspired by the shapes and color combination of Eames’ The Toy design. Multicolor triangles are printed across a Cowichan cardigan, matching pants, and slippers made of earth-friendly soft yarn. A Logo Jacquard sweatshirt and pants series features EAMES and GELATO PIQUE branding boldly displayed on the front, and Chair Motif pajama are found in playful repeat patterns. Lastly, One Point tees display iconic images from the Eames Office archive to complete the cozy capsule.

“Through our collections, we always seek for our customers to feel a special quality in materials and function as much as joy and emotion. In this new collection, Gelato Pique sought to capture the essence of Charles and Ray Eames’ belief that good designs “should take their pleasure seriously” in the relaxed energy of our loungewear, which we have been carefully refining for decades,” the brand shared in a press release.

Gelato Pique will be releasing the special Eames Office collection online and in its physical stores on February 15.

Elsewhere, KAPITAL KOUNTRY REMAKE returns with military-inspired SS22 series.
