THE NORTH FACE Uses Natural Fiber Paper Yarn in New COMFORTIVE Collection

THE NORTH FACE released the “COMFORTIVE” collection, introducing apparel developed using natural fiber paper yarn.
Described as “activewear that can be worn in various everyday situations,” the new collection uses natural fiber paper yarn made by slitting and twisting high-quality paper and blending it with other fibers. With its excellent moisture absorption and desorption properties, the resulted fabric sits comfortably on the skin and controls the humidity inside the clothes.
The range is separated into two types, the “Light Comfort Collection” and the “Comfortive Basic Collection.” The former is based on the no-sew WHOLEGARMENT method, which knits the entire garment in three dimensions for a seamless design that allows swift movement fitting for the summer. On the other hand, the “Comfortable Basic Collection” is designed for everyday activewear with a lightweight and soft knitting structure that offers comfort on the skin and stretchiness for flexibility.
The Light Comfort Collection sweatshirts priced at ¥17,600 JPY (approximately $150 USD) and long pants at ¥18,700 JPY (approximately $160 USD) will be on sale in early February, whereas the Comfortive Basic collection T-shirts priced at ¥8,690 JPY (approximately $75 USD) and slim pants at ¥12,100 JPY (approximately $105 USD) will be on sale in early March on the official online store and at physical stores and retailers nationwide.
