Tyrell Winston's Reebok Question Mid Is Unveiled
The multimedia creative slaps his NY Yankees logo interpretation on the right heel.
In the early half of 2022, Reebok has already impressed the sneaker community with a handful of collaborative footwear releases with the likes of Maison Margiela, Packer and KANGHYUK. Soon enough, its partnerships arm will be expanding thanks to multimedia artist Tyrell Winston who has lent his creative touch to the Reebok Club C and Question Mid, and the latter pair’s official images have now popped up into our midst.
Much like its Club C counterpart, this execution of this iteration is mostly prepared with neutral tones. The base layers are readied with crisp white leathers that make up the side walls and tongues while solid black accents through the mudguards, vector logos that are located on the tongues and heels, Reebok lettering throughout the lace loops and the heels which have been engineered with faux fur. Semi-chunky midsole pieces are done up with more white and come assembled on top of an icy blue tinted sole. Lower heels split their branding between Allen Iverson‘s “3” on the left shoe and Winston’s interpretation of the New York Yankees logo on the right.
A release date is still unknown for the artist’s collaboration, but you can likely anticipate Reebok to launch them in the coming months.
For other footwear news, Kerby Jean-Raymond is departing from Reebok as its Global Creative Director.
