No Maintenance Pursues the Perfect Cropped Silhouette with Puffer Jackets
Introducing minimalist outerwear that doesn’t hide what’s underneath it.

Shot in Big Bear, California, No Maintenance presents its Cropped Down Puffer on a model’s winter expedition instead of shooting it in a pared-back studio setting. Designed in-house, the jacket balances an eye-catching, down-filled silhouette with minimalist styling and muted colors. Releasing on Sunday, February 27 on No Maintenance’s website, the puffer comes in Beige, Brown, Sage and Black colorways.
The interior of the Cropped Down Puffer features a full silk satin lining and a gunmetal zipper that sits below the waist, but above the hips. It’s possible to throw the puffer on top of a sweatsuit look or pair it with suit trousers, which makes it a versatile garment for daily use. The brand’s imagery helps fans gain a sense of the uniform look that No Maintenance is constantly fine-tuning– the Cropped Down Puffer creates thought-provoking bodily proportions when worn with a cropped hoodie, but is still accessible enough to complement popular sneakers like the Salomon XT-6.
“I think we’re at a time where individuals are experimenting with incorporating garments from contemporary fashion movements into a variety of different styles,” explains Sebastian, No Maintenance’s co-founder. Chatting with fans at a recent release party for its “Still” Cardigan, No Maintenance shares an appreciation for nostalgic pieces like North Face puffers, but aims to find the nexus between old and new. The Cropped Down Puffer also marks the beginning of an important spring season where No Maintenance will debut other original products like the “Tech Double Knees” pants worn above.
Starting on Sunday, February 27 at 11AM PST, the Cropped Down Puffer will be available for $348 USD on the brand’s website. To stay updated with the latest releases, restocks and events from No Maintenance, follow them on Instagram.
