Nike Dunk Low is Unveiled in a Duo of College-Inspired Colorways
The pairs borrow the palettes from USC and UCLA.

The Nike Sportswear archive is home to some of the most iconic models that the sneaker game has ever seen, but if there’s one that will continue to be the center of attention in the months ahead, it’s the Dunk. GRs and collaborations will continue to flood the market in 2022, and two more collegiate style entries have just been unveiled. The first is a “Gym Red” iteration while the second is done up with a bold “Blue/Yellow” palette.
Details on the “Gym Red” iteration are somewhat similar to the Nike Dunk Low “University Red” colorway that dropped back in 2020 but it sports additional accents that allow it to stand on its own. Overlays and Swooshes are dyed in their titular hue and come offset with white quarters, toe boxes, tongues and collars. Small notes of yellow pop up on the tongue and heel branding that give these kicks some USC Trojan-esque energy.
Its counterpart unofficially nods to UCLA just by the very nature of its palette. Bruins-friendly blue cascades over the Nike checks and the smooth leather overlays while the toe boxes, mid-foot, tongues and collars are filled in with a bold yellow tone.
A release date for both of these offerings has yet to be announced, but you can likely expect Nike and other affiliated shops to release them in the coming weeks.
