LEGO Releases a Faithful Replica of Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
In celebration of the club’s 120th anniversary.
LEGO continues to expand its offerings for the 2022 year, this time paying homage to one of the most beloved football teams in the world.
Arriving later this year, LEGO has unveiled a replica model of Real Madrid‘s home field, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The impressive kit features over 5,800 pieces and comes just in time to celebrate the Real Madrid C.F.’s 120th anniversary and LEGO’s 75th anniversary. Joining LEGO fans with football fans, the stadium model is both an interactive and immersive set that includes specific details from the pitch with the famous grass pattern, the venue’s four iconic towers, the goals, tunnel, dugout, scoreboard, stickers, banners and of course, the Real Madrid branding.
In a statement, designer at LEGO, Milan Madge said, “Real Madrid is one of the most remarkable football clubs in history — which is why recreating the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in LEGO brick form was such an incredibly rewarding experience. Authenticity and sense of scale are key factors in this recreation so that builders can truly feel the atmosphere of this dazzling and vast stadium. This set allows builders to bring the much-loved home base of Real Madrid into their own home for years to come.”
The Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu Stadium goes on sale in the LEGO stores and in Real Madrid stores starting on March 1, 2022 for $349.99 USD.
