Dr. Martens x A-COLD-WALL* Unveil a Duo of Footwear Collabs for SS22

While still in the early months of 2022, Dr. Martens has wasted no time in further building out its collaborations division with striking projects. So far, the British footwear imprint has revealed projects with the likes of FUTURA LABORATORIES, Yohji Yamamoto and PLEASURES, and now it will be reuniting with the fellow UK-based brand A-COLD-WALL*. Together, the two parties have lent their touch two silhouettes: the Rikard 8-eye boot and the Rikard 3-eye shoe.

For this initiative, Samuel Ross reinterprets the Rikard model with simple-yet-effective design details. Both offerings are done up with the traditional black leather upper and sole piece, the former of which now features reflective side paneling and A-COLD-WALL* branding that has bears various slits to give off a bar code-esque aesthetic. A ghillie lacing system is carried over from the duo’s previous collaborations, and Dr. Martens signature yellow welt stitching is applied to the black and yellow AirWair heel tab.

For those that are interested in buying these refined boots, you can find them releasing via the A-COLD-WALL* web store on March 3 and on March 5 via Dr. Martens. Retail is set at $290 USD for the 8-eye and $260 for the 3-eye.
