First Look at the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” in Yellow
Complete with tan midsoles and red heel tabs.
Anytime Tom Sachs attaches his name to a project that’s associated with the realm of footwear it’ll more than likely garner a sizable amount of attention. The artist’s forthcoming NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” collaboration has been circling around the Internet for quite some time now in a blue and white palette, but it appears that a yellow colorway is also in the works as early images of the pair have now emerged.
While the materials from the first colorway are kept consistent, the approach with this pair is far more bold and bright. Suede overlays and canvas underlays and both fitted with a bright yellow hue and come styled with angelic Swoosh logos. Tongues, interior lining and laces all arrive with an off-white exterior and feature bright orange-red tongue and heel tabs that are reminiscent of the contemporary artist’s iconic NikeCraft Mars Yard Shoe 2.0 shoe. Beneath the base is a textured midsole piece that is smothered with a tan paint job along with waffle treading down below that’s dyed in solid black.
