Converse Introduces Its Positionless All Star BB Shift Hoops Silhouette
The hardwood-ready model is equipped with Nike Air Zoom technology and multi-direction treading.

Innovations from the Converse Hoops family have grown at a rather steady pace in recent years, but it’s ready to beef up its catalog with a brand new silhouette — the All Star BB Shift. The key with this newest offering is that it’s crafted to fit any type of hooper. Whether or not you’re a big man that dominates the low block or a point guard that facilitates the offense, the model’s design details are built for versatility on the court.
The new positionless kicks are constructed with a lower profile and come fashioned with a sleek aesthetic. Its debut colorway is one that blends neutral tones and vivid accents. Textile and synthetic materials come together to form its base layer, most of which comes styled in solid black while bursts of pink, blue, baby blue and orange arrived in striped fashion across the collars, mid-foot and toe boxes. One star emblems are pasted to the lateral wall and tongues, and the heels come styled with a heel overlay that slightly lips out. Nike Air Zoom cushioning is packed inside the sole unit for a responsive ride and the outsoles are devised with multi-direction intent to keep wearers flowing smoothly on the floor.
Converse signees such as Draymond Green, Kelly Oubre, Natasha Cloud and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be spotted rocking these throughout the season in special PE colorways. A public release is slated to go down on February 28 via Converse and select retailers.
In other news, Rick Owens’ DRKSHDW x Converse DRKSTAR has returned in new colorways.
