Nanamica Links With Monocle for Special-Edition Cruiser Jacket
Constructed from a GORE-TEX cotton twill.
After ending last year with the launch of its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Japanese stalwart nanamica has unveiled its first project of this year. Working with British publication and lifestyle brand Monocle, nanamica has crafted an exclusive new cruiser jacket inspired by the U.S. Army ECWCS Jacket.
The jacket comes constructd from an outer of 3L Cotton Twill GORE-TEX, which sandwiches a GORE-TEX membrane between cotton on the front and nylon tricot on the back. This material gives the jacket wind- and water-proof properties, as well as allowing moisture to escape. Other technical details include a chest pocket with security fastener, and a waste pocket that also acts as a hand warmer.
The exclusive GORE-TEX cruiser jacket is due to release via nanamica’s web store and physical shops, as well as the Monocle online shop, on February 27.
