Air Jordan 1 Low Golf "University Blue" Is Dressed With a Tar Heels-Friendly Palette
Jordan Brand honors MJ’s alma mater with a fairway-ready makeup.

Michael Jordan — even during his prime playing days with the Chicago Bulls — has made it clear that he’s just as obsessed with playing golf as he is with the sport of basketball. The six-time champion will still be often be spotted out hitting the fairway nowadays, and Jordan Brand has nodded to this affinity by beefing up its retro golf footwear catalog. One model that has gained a substantial amount of steam in recent memory is the Air Jordan 1 Golf, and it has just surfaced in a clean “University Blue/White” colorway.
The new installment overtly shouts out MJ’s alma mater by making use of signature Tar Heel colors, and the color-blocking is reminiscent of Eric Koston’s Air Jordan 1 Low SB “Powder Blue” collaboration that launched back in 2019. Wings logos appear on the rear end with white embroidery and the tongue’s branding has been reworked with a Jumpman golf logo. Construction-wise the outsoles have been slightly beefed up with more ridged treading so that wearers have ample grip when rocking these on the green.
Jordan Brand has not confirmed release details for these just yet, but you can definitely expect a drop to come soon. Retail is set at $140 USD.
For other sneaker news, official images of the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” have emerged.
