Adidas' NMD S1 "Ice Mint/Oynx" Is Finally Releasing
While some pairs are already floating around the Internet.

The adidas NMD has been around since 2015, appearing in guises under Pharrell Williams’ vision, various other collaborative takes, and in sought-after original colorways too, but now as the pair is being revived adidas has introduced a reworked iteration, dubbed the NMD S1. While this pair has been seen before, in white, black, and the above gray color, the latter didn’t come with official release information, until now.
Surfacing on Asphalt Gold, the upcoming adidas NMD S1 appears in “Ice Mint/Onyx” and is incredibly different from the original NMD shape. While the upper is still made from Primeknit, the sock-like upper is re-engineered in a new form-fitting shape and sports a mid-panel section housing the Three Stripes in a style akin to the monofilament material used for the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2’s stipe.
Elsewhere, rope laces thread through small Primeknit eyelets while adidas’ Trefoil logo hits up the asymmetrical tongue tab. As for the sole unit, it’s bulbous and shields BOOST behind a thick wall of rubber, sporting embedded midsole plugs in gray and an integrated toothed outsole that kicks up at the heel.
Take a look at the adidas NMD S1 in “Ice Mint/Onyx” above, and pick up the pair from retailers such as Asphalt Gold imminently. The pair is also available in small sizes at Footpatrol now.
Elsewhere in the footwear world, Machine-A is exclusively dropping the emerging designer steven ma and its avant-garde heels.
