"Cool Grey" Arrives On the Air Jordan 6
Borrowing its name from the Air Jordan 11’s classic look.
For 2023, an array of Jordan Brand’s classic Air Jordan silhouettes have been revealed to be returning once again. Joining the list, the Air Jordan 6 continues its steady stream of new and OG looks with a “Cool Grey” presentation. Despite carrying the name of the iconic look that began on the Air Jordan 11 and consequently landed on others such as the Air Jordan 3, this take’s ties to the past are strictly defined by its color scheme of white and grey hues.
Diving into the colorway’s details, the look kicks things off with a soft grey nubuck base that is perforated at the midfoot. Akin to the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine,” its overlays take form in white leather that spans from just below the toe to its heel. A darker grey joins the design at the tongue, lace lock and heel tab while metallic silver detailing can be spotted at the lacing system, heel’s Jumpman logo, matching heel “AIR” text and the midsole’s additional layers. The remainder of the midsole appears in white, resting atop an icy translucent outsole to complete the look.
As of now, the Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey” is expected to launch February 4 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $200 USD.
