Jordan Brand Welcomes the Air Jordan 23 to Its "Year of the Rabbit' Collection
Rabbit icons appear on the inside of the tongues and red envelope-inspired graphics reside on the insoles.
The Air Jordan 23 hasn’t seen much action since TITAN 22 put an electrifying spin on it in 2020, but Jordan Brand is primed to bring it back into the spotlight as part of 2023’s “Year of the Rabbit” collection. Official images have been sent our way, and we can confirm that the kicks have been formed with luxe materials and culture-inspired icons.
Standout elements on these hoops-turned-lifestyle sneakers are the graphic symbols that land on the shoes. The exterior sides of the tongues are styled with floral Jordan Brand logos while the interior sides are emblazoned with rabbit silhouettes to echo its motif. If you peek inside the shoes, the insoles have been fitted in red and accessorized with rectangular Jumpman branding. They’re crafted with gilded finishes which are reminiscent of the elements that you’d find on red envelopes that are traditionally passed out during the annual festivities. Lateral and medial panels are formed with “Light Silver” leather panels which are touched up with swirly embroidered lines. Furthermore, the toe tips have been adorned with a collage of Michael Jordan‘s signature.
A release for these is likely occurring in the coming months so practice patience as we receive word on an official launch day.
