Hypebeast 100 honoree Shane Gonzales is gearing up to launch his final Midnight Art Dept. collection of the year in collaboration with the classic 1987 film, The Lost Boys.

Based on the supernatural comedy-horror, which follows two brothers who relocate to a small California beach town where vampires are rumored to exist, the collection puts forth a frightening MO across its designs — and yes, David’s iconographic, blood-hungry expression is plastered all over.

Among the range, Gonzales’s standout piece is the Vamp Trucker Jacket, which fronts double-take-worthy graphic artwork of the movie’s central vampire on its front, back and arms. Star Wide Leg Trousers articulate the film’s graphic language in a similar manner, and two T-shirts celebrate the film’s cultural imprint with signature character illustrations. In accessories, the collaboration breeds a Re-Constructed Moto Tote Bag, fronting thrilling all-red imagery on its front opening.

Where MIDNIGHT STUDIOS is Gonzales’ punkish luxury label, Midnight Art Dept. is the designer’s platform for project-based collaborations with brands, musicians and pop-cultural entities on a more accessible level. Initially partnering with A$AP Rocky, the visionary started Midnight Rave, which united hip-hop and electronic music experiences under one massive roof.

Midnight Art Dept.’s The Lost Boys collection will be available on Decemeber 16 on MIDNIGHT STUDIOS’ website. Prices range from $65 USD to $250 USD. Take a look at the collection in the gallery above.

Elsewhere in fashion, Bode will return to Paris Men’s Fashion Week this January.
