TITAN and Jordan Brand Salute the Philippines' Rich Basketball Culture with Electric Air Jordan 23 and Air Jordan 35

The two-pack of latter-day Jordan Brand styles is centered around TITAN’s signature lightning bolt graphic and an elegant-yet-sporty color palette.

After official images of both pairs surfaced in recent weeks, TITAN and Jordan Brand have announced formal release details for their co-created Air Jordan 23 and Air Jordan 35. A two-silhouette salute to the Philippines’ rich basketball culture and Jordan Brand’s technological innovation, the offerings also mark TITAN’s first Air Jordan collaboration(s) after the Manilla-based retailer worked on several styles from LeBron JamesNike Basketball line in years past.

The Air Jordan 23 has held special meaning in the Philippines since its 2008 debut: TITAN was one of only 23 global retailers to receive the model’s famed — and fittingly-named — “Titanium” colorway. 12 years later, TITAN has re-crafted it with signature yellow lightning bolt stitching atop its black leather quarter panels. This crackling base is accented by milky white and rich red accents, with more TITAN-specific branding appearing on the tongue medallion and insoles.

On the other end, the Air Jordan 35 tones down its wattage by relegating the lightning bolt print to the heel overlay and presenting it in tonal fashion. However, the tech is still fully charged up: the Jumpman’s signature combination of an Eclipse Plate 2.0 and a beefy forefoot Zoom Air bag ensures explosive on-court performance. A tan-toned forefoot works with red midfoot webbing, black/gray heels and an Air Jordan 5-esque black and gold tongue to round off the look.

“Every street has its own story to tell. Every corner has its own legend. Every playground has its own greatest games,” says TITAN Director of Special Projects Raoul Reinoso. “We have a deep well of stories and various unique voices to tell them. As a brand, we want to continue to be a vehicle for storytelling and inspiring younger kids, in order to empower them and help them achieve their basketball dreams.”

The TITAN x Air Jordan 23 and 35 will release exclusively at TITAN on December 23, then roll out to global doors on December 29. The staggered release slate will conclude with a North America drop on January 23.
