First Look at New Nike Dunk Low CO.JP Colorway
Marking the return of the legendary Japan-only line.

With Nike preparing for an exciting upcoming year of releases, it looks to be revisiting its CO.JP line. One of the brand’s most popular initiatives, CO.JP, short for Concept Japan, served as a pioneer in building the world of sneakers as we know it today. Featuring limited, Japan-only releases throughout the ’90s and early ’00s, CO.JP has been regarded as “the architect” for modern day collecting by industry veterans such as Jeff Staple.
Having revisited classics such as the Air Force 1 CO.JP “Wheat” in the past, Nike now adds to its iconic line with a new Dunk Low CO.JP look. Based on a brief first viewing of the pair, brown and black combine on an upper that features a diverse range of materials and textures. Its soft brown base appears in a snakeskin-like finish while its darker brown overlays include a rough suede portion at the lacing system, a slightly aged leather towards the collar and well-worn finish to the leather at the mudguard. Cracked black leather appears at the Swooshes and heel tab as well. A “Sail” midsole combines with a dark brown rubber outsole to complete its exterior. Peeking into the interior, the tongue and sockliner feature CO.JP branding.
As of now, no release details have been disclosed regarding the return of Nike’s CO.JP line and the launch of this Dunk Low colorway. It is expected to be available via Nike and select retailers at some point next year.
