Founded by Takuji Suzuki, ts(s) is a menswear brand that draws inspiration from workwear, military uniforms, and sports styles to create its signature utilitarian aesthetics. NEEDLES, on the other hand, was founded by NEPENTHESKeizo Shimizu as a clothing label that oozes classic Americana and old Western influences, complementing the store’s existing collections. Now joining forces for the first time, both Japanese brands marry each of their respective signature design languages in a lively capsule collection.

The collection boasts six styles of vintage-inspired workwear and sportswear silhouettes, every piece comes infused with NEEDLE’s maximalist, retro-style prints and graphics. The lineup consists of a matching puffer jacket and pants, a woolen flannel shirt with joggers, as well as a vibrant fleece bomber jacket and a gilet in a corresponding gradated print.

Priced from $350 to $618 USD, the limited collection is currently available online and in stores at NEPENTHES. Preview all the pieces from the collab in the gallery above.

Elsewhere in fashion, Kanuk’s 2022 winter collection is Canadian outerwear’s best-kept secret.
