Gear Up for the Trails With Madhappy's Salomon XT-6 FT Collaboration
The hike-ready sneakers sport pops of red and pale blue accents.
Madhappy dug even deeper into the collaborations space throughout 2022 by generating projects alongside GUESS, Columbia, Beats and more, and to further build upon this impetus, it’s now teaming up with Salomon to do its own interpretation of the XT-6 FT. This marks the first occasion that an external partner has executed its own rendition of the trail-ready silhouette.
“The Salomon Team both in North America (Bryan, George) and at their HQ (Alexander, Thibault, Robin) have been a true pleasure to work with”, says Noah Raf, co-founder & Chief Creative at Madhappy. “Their deep understanding of product and culture has been inspiring and lead us to our first project together on the XT-6 FT.”
For this installment, Madhappy leans on a brighter color scheme to ornament its upper. Backdrops are fashioned in a bright white hue and complemented by pale blue quarter panels and overlays that sit near the throat. Striking pops of red are sprinkled to the interior liners, zig-zag overlays that rest beneath its mid-foot film and the Madhappy branding that is printed down the throat banners. Salomon branding stands out in white and sits atop the navy mudguard that runs from toe to heel. Down below, the midsoles are also styled in a dusted blue hue while the treading features Mud Contagrip to provide grip in rough terrain.
No release date has been announced yet but it’s likely that these will be hitting the shelves in the coming weeks.
