COMME des GARÇONS and PORTER are in their (collaborative) bag this holiday season, working together on an eight-bag capsule as part of CdG’s annual holiday celebrations. Dubbed “Holidays with PORTER,” the collection offers four different bag silhouettes, each presented in a festive red or a muted black and made from PORTER’s ultra-durable nylon.

For the more adventurous customer, the collection’s standout style is a drawstring bag with an elongated cinch closure, On the simpler front, there are also Boston bags for a more standard satchel look, vertically-inclined “newspaper bags” and a flat, rectangular tote bag. All styles use metal hardware and minimal branding — a black PORTER tag is the only visible logo on each — to round off the look.

If this collection is your kind of bag(s), it’s releasing at five different COMME des GARÇONS stores across Japan, the first time an outside company has held a pop-up at the stores, and it’ll also be accompanied by drops of Porter’s familiar Tanker and Senses bags. Three other COMME des GARÇONS stores will just release the four bag styles without the Tanker and Senses drop, and a full list of retailers can be seen below. Prices range from ¥26,400 (approximately $190 USD) for the flat tote to ¥33,000 JPY (approximately $238 USD) for the drawstring bag, and the pop-ups will be open from December 1 to December 28. Info on an online release has yet to be announced
