Following collaborations with the Louvre and The Met, CASETiFY now partners with Hong Kong’s new M+ Museum to celebrate the arrival of its Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now exhibition opening on November 12. The upcoming show is the largest-ever retrospective exhibition of Kusama in Asia outside of Japan, looking to examine her artistic practice over the years through the six themes: Infinity, Accumulation, Radical Connectivity, Biocosmic, Death, and Force of Life.

Featuring over 200 iconic works lent from Kusama’s private collection, museums, and private collections across Asia, Europe, and the United States, the exhibition is organized chronologically and thematically, spanning from the earliest drawings she made as a teenager during WWII to her most recent immersive installations. The CASETiFY collaboration arrives in four designs based on some of Kusama’s most recognized works including Sex Obsession (1992), Pound of Repose (2014), We Who Are Captivated by the Utmost Beauty of Everything We Know and Shed Tears as We Were Monstrously Touched by the Mystery of the Beauty (2019) as well as a Yayoi Kusama with her soft sculpture photo taken in 1964.

“As a global creative hub, CASETiFY provides tech accessories that act as a canvas for self-expression. We are proud of collaborating with M+ on phone case designs for this Special Exhibition that introduces a new interpretative approach to Kusama’s over seven-decade career and invites viewers to discover the transformative power of art,” comments Wes Ng, co-founder and CEO at CASETiFY. “We are sure the phone case designs will resonate greatly with the global arts community and the wider Gen Z demographic who actively follow CASETiFY.

Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now opens on November 12. The phone cases will be available via the exhibition shop, M+ Shops, and online.

Elsewhere, Twitter’s new verification scheme will include two checkmark tiers.
