Blackstock & Weber Heads to the Hamptons for FW22
Reimagining core silhouettes with a couple of new additions.
With Blackstock & Weber, positioning classic loafers in a contemporary framework remains paramount. Alongside this goal is the brand’s exaltation of not just savoring one’s footwear but the many journeys they may lead one on – whether it be the city, country or in this case, the beach. Now for the Fall/Winter 2022 season, the Brooklyn-based brand takes a trip to The Hamptons.
Titled ‘Out East,’ the latest collection is suited for serene moments outside of the city from walking along the beach to enjoying fresh oysters. Whereas most people enjoy getting away to The Hamptons during the summer months, Blackstock & Weber founder/creative director Chris Echevarria insists that the off-season reigns supreme due to its heightened tranquility.
“The biggest thing for me was presenting another aspect of my life,” said Echevarria. “I like the departure from NYC and being in a beachy town. It’s a fully immersive experience.”
With the FW22 offering, Blackstock & Weber does not diverge from its classic silhouettes. Instead, it presents new ways to reimagine its current silhouettes. For example, The Mason Horse Bit Loafer appears in onyx and chocolate crocodile variations with a Vibram 1757 lug sole, while the signature Ellis Penny Loafer appears in a two-tone mixed-fabric chocolate edition.
Additionally, the new collection also brings new silhouettes into the fold like a black horsebit mule and a suede Ellis Penny Loafer in tobacco and sage with a cream-colored Vibram 1757 lug sole. Whether reimagined or completely new, B&W’s latest furthers its cadence of exceptionally crafted silhouettes made for the good life.
