Since 2019, Japanese brand Wataru Tominaga has been delivering envelope-pushing fashion items for men’s and women’s ready-to-wear. For the Fall/Winter 2022 season, the label is adding a creative aesthetic to cozy season with visually manipulated textiles and plush hand-made design details.

Experimenting with prints and technical patterns, Wataru Tominaga’s FW22 collection implements unique cable knit structures with contrast-color front panel and sleeve details, oversize outerwear silhouettes, and flora and fauna graphic decals (along with nature scenes) placed on trousers.

Bold colorways including electric blue, neon green, citrus yellow and taupe lead the new collection, along with canvas jackets containing multiple, utilitarian oversized pockets and roomy sleeves. Additionally, the collection includes outdoor scenic-printed bucket hats, spiked beanies, rolled-toe leather, and rubber velcro-strapped footwear.

Further discovery of the Wataru Tominaga brand can be found on its website.
