Update: As release nears, the Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC to Chicago” has now been revealed by Nike. It remains expected to launch on March 8 via the Swoosh and select Jordan Brand retailers. For more information, check out our original coverage below.

Original Story: Following its appearance on the Air Jordan 1, the “UNC to Chicago” theme continues to celebrate Michael Jordan‘s journey from the University of North Carolina to the Chicago Bulls with the Air Jordan 2. The pair of Air Jordan Low 2 initially surfaced in October hinting at addition to Jordan Brand’s 2023 releases.

The shoe is dressed in a white, fire red, dark powder blue and sail color scheme that gives a nod to both Jordan’s college and his long-time NBA team. The silhouette is constructed with a white leather upper that features red contrasting accents on both the pipings and the Wings logo on the tongues, a subtle nod to Chicago. The dark powder blue details that represent UNC are seen on the back heel and a portion of the outsole while sitting atop a sail midsole to round out the design. The sneaker is slated to arrive with an extra set of dark powder blue and fire-red laces.

The Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC To Chicago” is slated to release on March 8, 2023, for a price of $160 USD at select retailers and on Nike.

In case you missed it, the Nike Air Max 1 surfaces in “Burgundy Crush.”
