Japanese footwear label Mizuno has just presented its latest version of its classic Wave Prophecy LS sneaker and now the shoe has been dressed in a stealthy “Black/Black” colorway.

Mizuno is consistently riding the wave of regular footwear releases, with each new design applying itself to all things exploration and athletics. For example, some recent drops have come in the form of its impressive “Desert Meditation Pack,” a collaboration with Footpatrol, and even a new “Fisherman Pack” that took inspiration from the Japanese coastline for its breezy campaign.

Now, Mizuno’s latest release has explored its brand archives, unveiling the new Wave Prophecy LS that is based on Yoshitaka Takahashi’s Wave Prophecy 8 runner. As a whole, the shoe combines various futuristic elements with AIRmesh breathability — integrated to make running breathable and easy across several different surfaces, this is also complemented by the Mizuno’s classic Infinity Wave Plate on the outsole.

What’s more, is that the sneaker has also been designed with thick caging along the lateral sides and upper and it has been pieced together by portions of breathable mesh. Furthermore, the new Wave Prophecy LS also welcomes an improved Prophecy sole, while the customary branding can be spotted across the shoe’s cladding and the caging.

You can take a closer look at the new Wave Prophecy LS from Mizuno above and it will be available to purchase via the official Mizuno website from February 24.
