In August of 2022, Wood Wood presented its Spring/Summer 2023 “Escape to Paradise” collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Inspired by artistic communities near the water, the collection take’s a look at expanding its catalog through appreciation. Now, the brand is finally launching its SS23 collection in preparation for the upcoming season.

With an increased focus on functional wearability, the collection casts its pieces to live in a variety of spaces throughout the day and night. Additionally, the collection’s inspiration by art collector Peggy Guggenheim seeps into the designs as a driver of reimagined reverence.

“Every hour of the day is a miracle of light. In summer with daybreak, the rising sun produces such a tender magic on the water that it nearly breaks one’s heart,” said Guggenheim.

As such, the collection’s graphic floral prints appear across flowing dresses and soft blouses while a men’s coordinating set receives a natural-hued camouflage treatment. Other integral pieces include updated workwear garments like carpenter pants, tech suits and structured jackets alongside versatile knitwear.

Check out the offering in the gallery above. Wood Wood SS23 collection launches on Thursday, February 23 online.
