Japanese imprint N.HOOLYWOOD has officially revealed its Fall/Winter 2023 collection, acting as an homage to alfresco activities on its local ground. Founder Daisuke Obana wanted to explore new forms of design by allowing other designers to participate in the creative process. By experimenting with different silhouettes, textiles, and pigment manipulations, N.HOOLYWOOD starts fresh while enthusiastically looking to the future.

This observatory practice has allowed Obana to discover fresh techniques through an alternate lens, giving him the confidence to innovate in the coming seasons. The brand’s casual outlooks are maintained throughout the collection alongside its staple outdoor motifs that reflect its founder’s fascination with surfing and camping.

The offering begins with double-layer checkered outerwear made in collaboration with Woolrich, matched with corduroy shorts and a nylon bucket hat. Graphic flannels and cozy sweatpants follow while leather vests receive fur-lined ornamentation, and slouchy cargo pants are crafted with California-based brand, Gramicci. Stripped rugby tops are supplied as jacquard interpretations paired with wool varsity jackets that ooze with a preppy feel. Distorted graphics land on knitted pullovers, while vibrant yellow rays illuminate padded ensembles and insulating anoraks.
