Noon Goons Launches Its Second Collection With Vans
The LA label lends its touch to the Vans Slip-On 98 DX, Authentic 44 DX and Sk8-Hi 38 DX.

Momentum is on Vans’ side this fall season as the brand has been participating in several collaborative projects that have propelled it into the sneaker spotlight. Among the popular ones are a recent Authentic team-up that is made alongside One Piece and an old school-inspired collection with Concepts, and now it’s slated to reunite with Noon Goons for a new capsule.
Leading the way in this new initiative are the footwear products, and Noon Goons lends its creativity to the Vans Slip-On 98 DX, Authentic 44 DX and Sk8-Hi 38 DX. The founder of the LA-based label was influenced by Vans’ Warped Tour for this collection. “I wanted to take all those great memories from that late 90’s-early 00’s and translate that into something real,” says Narmore. “It was all about self-expression and how you put things together. I wanted to create three solid footwear styles that aren’t overdone with logos or branding; just Vans Classics done properly: loud, but laid-back. A true California sensibility.”
The kicks are all prepared with rather understated motifs. The Slip-Ons are styled with baby blue uppers while the Authentics come fitted in a warm brown and the Sk8-His are fitted with black and white uppers and yellow jazz stripes. A common detail between the trio is that the black trimming that rests above the midsoles is styled with barbed wire-inspired graphics to add a punk-esque vibe to them. Matching apparel items such as tees, hoodies and coach jackets are also dropping alongside the sneakers.
The full collection is available now via Noon Goons.
