Joe Freshgoods New Balance 993 Performance Art Release

The combination of Joe Freshgoods and New Balance has played a key role in the world of sneakers this year. Each silhouette the duo graces brings out the best from both parties, resulting in an incredibly successful run. However, the latest from the two, the “Performance Art” collection, is said to be the “final chapter of this color story.” Already, the three pastel New Balance 993 colorways have launched in a charity raffle. Now, following our first looks and an on-foot breakdown, Freshgoods and New Balance have provided their official campaign.

As mentioned, the colorways all favor pastel makeovers with “Arctic Blue,” “Sage” and “Powder Pink,” Freshgoods’ favorite color, as the options. Each look is presented in an off-white mesh base with premium suede overlays in its signature color. A Freshgoods stamp of approval lands on the heel to note the designer’s involvement while special packaging adds to the theme as well.

Release for the last chapter of Joe Freshgoods’ color story with New Balance takes place October 21 via New Balance and select retailers worldwide at a price of $200 USD, with the “Sage” colorway arriving on HBX. The duo also has an art installation by Freshgoods on display at T-HOUSE New Balance in Tokyo, Japan starting October 21 and running through November 8.
